Robert "Rob" Hastings, 69, Adrian, Missouri died Monday, January 28, 2019 at his home in Adrian. A celebration of his life was held Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the Adrian Optimist Building, Adrian, Missouri.

Rob was born July 23, 1949 in Kansas City, MO, a son of James Elmer and Barbara Jean (Dyer) Hastings.  He had lived in Adrian since 1960.  He owned and operated Hastings Roofing in Adrian.  Rob was a U. S. Navy veteran.  He married Karen Sue Richards on August 17, 1990 in Oklahoma.

Rob is survived by his wife, Karen, of the home; two sons, Bryan Hastings (Tiffany), Adrian, MO and Aaron Hastings, Branson, MO; one daughter, Angela Hastings, Portland, OR; two brothers, Steve Hastings (Lois) and Eric Hastings (Susie), all of Adrian; four sisters, Mary Hastings, Sharon Hansen, Carla Dunn and Tammy Thompson, all of Butler, MO; 9 grandchildren, Mickayla Korth, Ely Korth, Benton Korth, and Leo Korth, Angel Chastain, Andrew Johnson, Aiden Hastings, Adam Hastings and Caleb Hastings; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
