Robert G. Kuntz, Sr., 71, Cleveland, MO died Thursday, October 11, 2018 at his home.  Funeral services were held  Monday, October 15, 2018 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO.  Burial will be in Freeman Cemetery, Freeman, MO.

Robert was born September 7, 1947 in Dickinson, North Dakota, a son of Jack and Mary (Heidt) Kuntz.  He had lived in Wichita, KS, Freeman, MO, and the Lake of the Ozarks, before moving to Cleveland.

Robert was united in marriage to Brenda Joyce Farris on July 19, 1975.  He worked for Yellow Freight for 30 years before retiring in 2005.  Robert was a member of Teamsters Local # 41 and was a U. S. Navy Veteran.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda, on May 11, 2015, a daughter, Connie Woodfin,  and his parents.  He is survived by three sons, Gerald Gray (Deb), Adrian, MO; Bobby G. Kuntz, II, Cleveland, MO, and Jim Kuntz (Rhonda), Cleveland, MO; one daughter, Teresa Gray (Kevin Sherfey), Spring Hill, KS; one brother, Tom Kuntz, Wichita, KS; four sisters, Arlene Stigers, Ark City, KS, Pat Rainwater, Wichita, Kathleen Kuntz, Derby, KS, and Mary Jean Schnable, Wichita; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and his faithful dog, Peace.
