Robert "Bob" Finchum, 77, of Belton, MO, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Beautiful Savior Nursing Home in Belton, MO. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Walters Cemetery in Walters, OK.

Bob was born November 19, 1945 to James Addis Finchum and Ovie Levie (Richards) Finchum in Walters, OK. He graduated from Walters High School. After high school, he enlisted in the United State Air Force, where he remained for 21 years, serving during the Vietnam War. During his service, he met and married Hui Su Pak on December 7, 1971. After retiring from the USAF, Bob went on to be an Air Traffic controller at Richards Gebaur AFB for 5 years, before changing careers to become a rural route mail carrier for the USPS in Belton, retiring after 20 years of service. In his free time, he loved to go fishing every chance he got and loved to bowl, participating in multiple leagues in Belton, MO.

Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Hui Su Finchum, and his parents. He is survived by his son, Charles R Finchum, II, and his wife, Christine R. Finchum; and his grandson, Charles Austin Finchum.
