Robert "Bob" Eugene McGee, 87, Harrisonville, MO, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Redwood of Raymore in Raymore, MO.  Funeral services were held  Thursday, October 10, 2019 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville with burial in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville.

Bob was born July 6, 1932 in Harrisonville, MO, a son of Arbra M. and Beulah (Fields) McGee.  He was a life-long resident of Harrisonville and was a 1950 graduate of Harrisonville High School.  Bob married Evelyn "Charlene" Ward on July 4, 1952 in Garden City, MO.  He was in the grocery store business most of his life, working at Nyman's, Foodtown, Hen House, Sun Fresh and Jerry's Thriftway.  Bob also owned and operated a Skelly gas station in Harrisonville and was a bulk truck driver for Standard Oil, worked at Anaconda and Golden Years.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Harrisonville.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, 10 brothers and sisters, a daughter, Kathy, a son, Robert, and his wife, Charlene.  He is survived by two sons, Rodney McGee, Kansas City, MO and Rick McGee (April), Harrisonville, MO; two daughters, Karen Wilbur, Oak Grove, MO and Kelly Quinn (Micah), Harrisonville; one sister, Bette Durbin of California; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
