Robert "Rob" Dale Gibson Jr., passed away on August 5, 2020 at the age of 54. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at the Atkinson Funeral Home, 600 W Wall St., Harrisonville, MO.

Rob was born February 3, 1966, in Kansas City, Missouri to Robert "Bob" Dale Gibson Sr. and Gladys "Pearl" Gibson. Rob was a loving father, son, brother, and uncle. He was a rambunctious spirit who loved rock 'n' roll, motorcycles, and spending time with his family. Rob was a talented artist and had a passion for drawing that he shared with his daughter. Rob enjoyed astronomy and on a clear night he could point out planets and constellations. Rob was an avid music lover and he shared his passion with anyone who would listen.

Rob was preceded in death by his father, Bob Gibson. He is survived by his mother, Pearl Gibson; his daughter, Brittney Gibson; sister and brother-in-law, Penny and Joe Porter; sister and brother-in-law, Wendy and David Roberts; step-son, Tyler Williams; nieces: Pamela McCubbin, Jessica Roberts, Holly D'Alfonso, Ivy Hays, Skilyn Roberts, and Serenity Roberts; nephews: Nick Porter and Reggie Roberts; and many great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

He will be missed by all. Rock on.
