Robert Arthur Christiansen, 71, of Harrisonville, MO passed away Monday, August 30, 2010 at his home. Memorial Service 10:00 a.m Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at the Adrian Restoration Branch, Adrian, MO.

He was born October 16, 1938 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Arthur John and Thelma (Wellman) Christiansen. On June 26, 1957 Robert was united in marriage to Betty Jane Martens. He was a Navy veteran. He worked several different jobs over the years; his latest was for Jack Peak Arabian Ranch as a Foreman.

He was preceded in death by his father and infant brother, Dennis Christiansen. He is survived by his wife, Betty of the home; three daughters, Cynthia Jane Martinez and husband, Paul of Underwood, IA Sheryl Lyn Cochran of Adrian, MO and Janelle Ann Chulufas and husband, Donnie of Adrian, MO; his mother Thelma Christiansen of Neola, IA; four brothers, William "Bill" Christiansen of Mississippi, Ronald Christiansen and wife, Paula of Neosho, MO, Phillip Christiansen and wife, Nellie of Mississippi, and Larry Christiansen of Neola, IA; two sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Honz and husband, Wayne of Missouri Valley, IA and Bonnie Boughton of Omaha, NE; six grandchildren, Jason Chulufas and wife Jessica, Adam Wayne Thomas, Emma Lynn Cochran, Shannon Rose Chulufas, Victoria Jane Martinez and Alexa Rose Martinez; 1 great-grandson, Bryce Chulufus; many nephews and nieces.
