Dr. Robert Raymond Brooks, 79, Kansas City, MO, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Meadow View of Harrisonville in Harrisonville, MO.  Funeral services were held  Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Adrian MO.  Burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian.  Memorial contributions may be made to charity of choice.

Bob was born April 25, 1940 in Adrian, MO a son of Raymond Kenneth and Frances Maxine (Fortsch) Brooks.  He graduated from Adrian High School in 1958.  Bob was an active member of the Boy Scouts, Eagle Scouts and was a member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say.  He moved to Kansas City after high school.  Bob was married for 10 years, and then became a bachelor for the rest of his adult life.  He worked for General Motors for several years before attending Cleveland Chiropractic College.  He became a chiropractor and practiced acupuncture for over 40 years.  Bob traveled with Dr. Richard Yennie in the 1970's giving seminars on acupuncture.  They were instrumental in bringing awareness to the United States.  While his parents were still living, Bob and Raymond enjoyed building and flying remote control airplanes.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Maxine Brooks.  He leaves his brother, Bill Brooks and wife, Brenda of Butler, MO; his nephew, Brad Brooks and his wife, Teresa of Adrian, MO and a niece, Paula Brooks of Lowell AR.
