Robbert Owen Cornforth, 14, Harrisonville, MO, died Monday, June 11, 2018 at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO. A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, June 16 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville.  Contributions may be made to Children's Mercy Hospital.

Robbert was born June 12, 2003 in Kansas City, MO, the son of Jason Cornforth and Shasati Gibson. He had lived in Belton, MO for six years before moving to Harrisonville. He was a sophomore at Harrisonville High School. Robbert was a Cub Scout and enjoyed playing video games and Legos.

Robbert was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Sheryl Gibson and Billy Smith. He is survived by his father and step-mother, Jason and Michelle Cornforth, Harrisonville, MO; his mother, Shasati Gibson, Harrisonville, MO; sister, Audry Cornforth, Harrisonville; step-sisters, Samantha Meadows, Pleasant Hill, MO and MacKenzie Koppa, Fort Scott, KS; paternal grandparents, Charles and Susan Cornforth, Grandview, MO; aunts and uncles, Mathew and Rhonda Cornforth, Billy Gibson (Donna), Vanda Rice (Larry), Marsha Boelkes, Barbara Elliot (Leon), a nephew, Caydence Anderson, and cousins, Noah Bernuth, Grayson Cornforth and Cole Cornforth.
