Richard Dalton Wyatt, 91, of Peculiar, Missouri, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023 at his home in Peculiar.  He was born on September 2, 1931 in Kansas City, Missouri, a son of King Dalton and Nellie (Aldred) Wyatt.  Richard lived in Kansas City before moving to Peculiar over 60 years ago. He was united in marriage to Mary Alene Birchfield in 1957.  Richard  was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Richard was a maintenance engineer, working for commercial businesses, fixing everything from squeaky doors to air conditioning systems.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary, on May 18, 2022; and his daughter, Mary Ann Wyatt.  He is survived by two sons, John Wyatt and Robert Wyatt, both of Peculiar; and a granddaughter, Miranda Wyatt, of Belton, MO.
