Richard "Ritchie" Dean Larsen, 65, of Peculiar, MO died Sunday, July 11, 2010 at his home. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2010 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville. Ritchie was born November 22, 1944 in Campo, CA, the son of Raymond and Ruby (Setzer) Larsen. Ritchie was a U.S. Army veteran. He married Virginia "Ginny" Ann Wilcox on December 23, 1968 in California. He had lived in San Diego, CA for 10 years before moving to Peculiar, MO. He was a member of the Elks Club while living in California. Ritchie was a production manager for Southeast Enterprise in Raytown, MO for 20 years before his recent retirement.

Ritchie was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters and one sister-in-law, Marge Winkert. He is survived by his wife, Ginny of the home; two sisters, Patty Heintz of Colorado and Dort Arrington of Arkansas; a brother-in-law, Bill Winkert of Arizona; two nieces, Margie Johnson of Peculiar, MO and Jay Hernandez of Las Vegas, NV; his local extended family, Rambo, Precious, Foxy and Queenie Mae, and his second family, the production workers at Southeast Enterprise.
