Richard Kirkland, 75, Harrisonville, MO, died Monday, March 5, 2018 at Meadowview of Harrisonville.  Memorial services were held Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the Evangel Spiritual Temple, 8448 Flora Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64131. Repast to follow service.


Richard was born December 14, 1942 to the parents of Willie Kirkland and Francis Kirkland.  He was born in Anniston, Alabama, then moved to Kansas City, Missouri and went to Manuel high school and later attended Lincoln high.  He loved music and his family and his kids.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Richelle, the oldest that lived in California. He is survived by his children, Venus Wilson, Clareatha Marler, Terri Sidhu, Arlana Kirkland, Kimberly Kirkland, Richelle Williams and a special son in law Kevin-king, Ricky Williams, and Marta Williams; his siblings, Mary slaughter, MIldred Kirkland, Donna Kirkland, Jimmie Kirkland.; and a host of grandkids and great-grandkids, nieces and nephews.
