Richard William Chinn, 69, Harrisonville, MO died Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at his home. A Celebration of Life service was held Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Shelter #2 at the Harrisonville City Park. Contributions may be made to Serenity Care Hospice.

Richard was born August 9, 1949 in Kansas City, MO the son of William F. and Helen L. (Holliday) Chinn. He attended Center High School. Richard married Paula Ann McKeehan on December 8, 2005 in Harrisonville. He had worked for Western Electric/AT&T, and had been an over the road truck driver for Hogan Truck Line. He had lived in Drexel, MO and Kansas City, MO before moving to Harrisonville in 1995.

Richard was preceded in death by his father, one brother and one sister. He is survived by his wife, Paula, of the home; one son, Brian Chinn, Smithville, MO; one daughter, Michelle Davis, Huntington, West Virginia; his mother, Helen Chinn, Sun City Center, FL and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
