Obituary
Rex L. Amon, 72, of Adrian, Missouri died Friday, September 21, 2012 at Crown Care Center in Harrisonville. Funeral Service 11:30 a.m. Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Faith Baptist Church, Harrisonville, MO. Visitation from 10:30-11:30 Thursday at the church. Graveside service scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO.
Rex was born May 5, 1940 in Kirksville, MO to James Wilard and Hazel Opal (Gleason) Amon. He served in the US Army from May 1962 until May 1965. He worked for Yellow Freight for 15 years. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Harrisonville and a lifetime member of the American Legion.
Rex is survived by his step-daughter, Ashley Wilson of Springfield, MO and many friends.
