Raymond "Roy" LeRoy Anderson, 49, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at the Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 23, 2013 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville with burial in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Harrisonville. Visitation 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, November 22 at the funeral home.

Roy was born January 28, 1964 in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Carl Edward "Ed" and Dorothea Rae (Templin) Anderson, Sr. He was a 1982 graduate of Archie High School. He worked for Owens-Corning in Kansas City, Kansas for 23 years. He had lived in Grandview for the past six years.

Roy was a member of the United Methodist Church in Archie. He enjoyed late model, dirt-track racing.

He was preceded in death by his one son, Raymond LeRoy Anderson, II and one grandson, Brian Motley, II. He is survived by his wife, Michelle, of the home; one son, Jacobe Anderson (Jina), Grandview, Missouri; two daughters, Terry Lee Motley (Brian), Kansas City, Missouri and Amanda Daisy Rae Anderson, Shawnee, Kansas; his parents, Ed and Rae Anderson, Harrisonville; two brothers, C. Edward "Junior" Anderson (Rebecca), Drexel, Missouri and Charles Eric Anderson, Adrian, Missouri; one sister, Pam Crowden (Michael), Harrisonville, Missouri; 8 grandchildren; a niece and 6 nephews.
