Raymond H Heuser, 76, of Harrisonville, MO, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023 at his home in Harrisonville. A memorial visitation was held on Thursday, September 28, 2023  at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO.

Ray was born February 27, 1947 in Butler, Missouri, a son of Raymond Harold "Bud" and Norma Louise (Wilburn) Heuser. He spent his early years in the Harrisonville area and was a 1965 graduate of Harrisonville High School. Ray attended Ozark Bible College in Joplin, MO, were he met his future wife, Elizabeth Guillory.  They were married December 17, 1966 in Joplin, MO. After Ray received his Bachelor's degree, he began a career working and traveling for tractor company's, Farmall, Case, and John Deere.

Ray has served on the Board of Directors for Osage Valley Electric Company for 12 years, and has always been active in the community. He and Liz were regulars at all the car shows with their 1956 Chevy. He owned and operated Ray Rae's Rib Shack, north of Harrisonville on 291 Highway for 17 years.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Norma. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Liz" Heuser; a son, Kent (Lynette) Heuser, Rich Hill, MO; a daughter, Rae A. Heuser, Shawnee, KS; four grandchildren: Preston, Ryan, Josh and Kurt; 4 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Leon Gudde, Harrisonville, MO.
