Ralph Reuben Hershberger, 88, Harrisonville, MO, died Thursday, November 15, 2007 at Cass Medical Center, Harrisonville. Funeral services 2:00 PM Sunday, November 18 at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville. Burial in Clearfork Cemetery, Garden City, MO. Visitation 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday at the chapel. Contributions may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.

Ralph was born May 15, 1919 in Harrisonville, the son of Samuel and Mabel Alice (Hartzler) Hershberger. He was a lifelong Harrisonville resident.

Ralph married Dorothy Louise Buchanan on November 2, 1941. He owned C & H Painting in Harrisonville, retiring in 1984. Ralph was a member of the Harrisonville First Christian Church and was a life member of the Harrisonville Optimist Club.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Dorothy on May 8, 2002. He is survived by one son, Don Hershberger, Grain Valley, MO; one daughter, Joyce Hawley, Harrisonville, MO; two brothers, Elba Hershberger and Herman Hershberger, both of Hesston, KS; one sister, Lela Stutzman, Kinross, IA; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
