Rae Jeanene Xanders, 74, Harrisonville, MO, died Friday, May 15, 2009 at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville, MO. No services. Cremation.
Rae was born September 24, 1934 in Omaha, NE, the daughter of Andrew and Loyt (Mielke) Martin. She was an RN and had worked for Bates County Hospital in Butler, MO for 12 years before retiring in 2004. She had also worked as a hospice nurse in Bates County. She had lived in Harrisonville for the last 17 years.
Rae was preceded in death by her parents and one aunt, Jennie Wise. She is survived by two sons, Russell Xanders and his wife, Vicki, Adrian, MO and Rex Xanders and his wife, Debbie, Murrieta, CA; one daughter, Robin Holloway and her husband, Don, Harrisonville, MO; six grandchildren, Andy Xanders, Mike Xanders, Melissa Xanders, Rachel Bearce-Bellamy, Landon Xanders and Alexis Xanders; three great-grandsons, Eric, Chase and Brody and one brother, Jerry Martin of California.
