Peggy L. Linder, 91, of Freeman, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Golden Years in Harrisonville, MO. Funeral services were held Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville. Burial  in the Freeman Cemetery in Freeman, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Croix Hospice.

Peggy was born on October 3, 1934 in Bendavis, MO, and had lived in Mountain Grove, MO, before moving to Kansas City, MO. She was a 1952 graduate of Westport High School in Kansas City. Peggy and her family moved to Freeman in 1956. She worked for Western Electric in Lee's Summit, MO, for 19 years and had worked at The Family Center in the shoe department for over ten years. Peggy loved to dance, and she and "the group" could be found line dancing somewhere in the area every weekend.

Peggy was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Ann Line; Claude G. Linder; and a sister, Janice Turner. She is survived by two sons: Ricky (Debbie) Linder, of Freeman, MO; and Ron (Julie) Linder, of Freeman, MO; a daughter, Lu Ann (Norman) Clark, of Freeman, MO; a special cousin, Clifford (Carolyn) Holdren, of Springfield, MO; six grandchildren: Angela Smith, Heather Clark, Abby Linder, Eric Linder, Sadie Walton, and Shelby Linder; three great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Amara, and Nathan Jr.; and many other relatives and friends.
