Paula Marie Still, 71, Peculiar, MO, passed away Monday, March 28, 2022 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO.  Funeral service were held  Friday, April 1, 2022 at the First Baptist Church in Peculiar, Missouri.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Thrift Shop in Peculiar, Missouri.

Paula was born June 20, 1950 in Princeton, MO, a daughter of Harley Wayne and Moyle Arline (Dunn) Seymour.  She was a graduate of Princeton High School.  Paula lived in Princeton until moving to Peculiar, MO in 1968.  Paula married James Russell Still on June 22, 1968 in Cainsville, MO.  She drove a bus for a few years for the Raymore-Peculiar School District and had worked at the Dollar General in Peculiar.  She was a volunteer for 40 years at the Peculiar Thrift Store and had served on the Thrift Store Board of Trustees.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Peculiar.

Paula was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Still on January 10, 2011, her parents, and a brother, Norman Wayne Seymour.  She is survived by one son, John Still, and one daughter, Cheryl Fries (David), all of Peculiar, MO; one brother, Tony Ray Seymour (Terri), Harrisonville, MO; two sisters, Janet Ilene Lancaster, Raymore, MO and Brenda Arline Waugh, Peculiar, MO; two grandchildren, Samantha R. Fries, Peculiar and Alexander T. Fries, Auburndale, FL, and other relatives and friends.
