Paul Ray Watson, 76, Raymore, MO, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. Graveside services were held Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Walker Cemetery in Thayer, MO.

Paul was born December 27, 1943 in Thayer, MO, a son of Amos and Leatha (Crews) Watson.  He married Carolynn Madden on December 25, 1965 at the Freewill Baptist Church in Thayer.  Paul was a U. S. Navy veteran.  He had worked for Hanrahan Asphalt in Kansas City, MO for 41 years.  He was a member of the Southland Baptist Church in Belton, MO.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Carolynn Watson on June 3, 2020, one brother, Carl Watson and two sisters, Marie Keltner and Alice Watson.  He is survived by two sons, Tony Watson (Jennifer), Archie, MO and Kevin Watson (Kimberly), Peculiar, MO; two brothers, Waymon Watson (Ruth), Thayer, MO and Gene Watson (Marsha), Belton, MO; one sister, Ruth Herring, Branson, MO; a half-brother, Wayne Watson (Jackie), Overland Park, KS; mother-in-law, Irene Madden, Thayer, MO; a sister, Shirley Walters (Bishop), Greenfield, MO; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 7 step-grandchildren; 14 step-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
