Paul Albert Riley, 78, Harrisonville, MO, died Sunday, January 7, 2018 at his home.  Memorial services were held Thursday, January 11 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville.

Paul was born July 8, 1939 in Arcadia, KS, the son of Warren and Betty (Willard) Riley. He was a 1958 graduate of Drexel, MO High School. Paul married Joyce Bennett on June 16, 1957. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a lifelong resident of Cass County, MO. He was a member of the Harrisonville First Baptist Church. Paul owned and operated, along with his brother-in-law, Asa Bennett, BRB Concrete in Harrisonville for 30 years and then Paul took it over as Riley Concrete, working for another 10 years. After retiring, Paul worked at Wal-Mart in Harrisonville in sporting goods for 15 years

Paul is survived by his wife, Joyce, of the home; two sons, Donnie Riley, Billings, MT and Erick Riley, Harrisonville, MO; one daughter, Mary Harleman, Grandview, MO; one brother, Bud Riley, Macks Creek, MO; 7 sisters, Jane Wolf, Wheatland, MO, Doris Weatherall, Macks Creek, MO, Rita Taylor, Lee's Summit, MO, Shirley Millershaski, Wellington, KS, Connie Leach, Sedalia, MO, Carol Chavarria, AZ, Sheri Richards, Macks Creek, MO; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
