Obituary
Paul Dean Lawrence, 72, Lee's Summit, MO, died Thursday, October 9, 2008 at the V.A. Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, October 13, 2008 at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville, MO. Burial will be in Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Kansas and Western Missouri, 6405 Metcalf Avenue, Suite 204, Overland Park, KS 66202.
Paul was born November 16, 1935 in Blockton, IA, the son of Howard and Cecil May (Goforth) Lawrence. He was a 1953 graduate of Central High School in St. Joseph, MO. He attended one year at DeVry Technical Institute in Kansas City.
Paul enlisted in the U. S. Air Force where he served honorably for six years. He married Mila Chapman in 1964.
Paul was preceded in death by his father and mother, one brother, Lyle Lawrence and one sister, Wilma Mullen. He is survived by his wife, Mila Lawrence, one daughter, Mary Snowden and her husband, Lyn and one grandson, Shawn Snowden, all of Lee's Summit, MO.
