Paul Norman Gregory, 94, of Warrensburg, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg, MO. A visitation was held on Monday, June 22, 2026, at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO. Burial in the Peculiar Cemetery, Peculiar, MO.

Born on March 6, 1932, in Mountainburg, Arkansas, to Herbert and Lula (Bowden) Gregory, Paul was raised in Mountainburg, where he was drafted into the U.S. Army shortly after graduating high school. He bravely served his country during the Korean War. On September 15, 1962, he was united in marriage to Shirley Mae Chumley. After his honorable discharge, Paul moved to Kansas City and later settled in the Lee's Summit area. Paul worked as a self-employed contractor.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Shirley. He is survived by his four children: Roger Gregory, Don Gregory, Jeff Gregory, and Vickie McClintock; as well as, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers, the Veteran's Administration, and the staff at the Missouri Veterans Home for their compassionate care. Special acknowledgment goes to Ashley Matswa, whose kindness and attention brought comfort to Paul during his declining years.
