Paul Russell Eagleson, 93, Raymore, MO, died Sunday, January 14, 2018 at St. Luke's East, Lee's Summit, MO. Graveside services were held Saturday, January 20, at Clearfork Cemetery in Garden City, MO. Contributions may be made to the Harrisonville Animal Shelter.
Paul was born April 8, 1924 in Golden, MO, the son of William and Gideon (Lowe) Eagleson. He was a graduate of Blue Springs High School. Paul married his high school sweetheart, Gladys Radmall, on May 23, 1942 in Independence, MO. He was a lifelong Cass County resident, having lived in Belton, MO before moving to Harrisonville in 1990, and then to Raymore in 2014.
Paul worked for General Motors Leeds Plant for 30 years before retiring in 1981. He was a member of the UAW Local #93 and the East Lynne, MO Baptist Church. Paul was also a licensed pilot.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 58 years, Gladys, on August 3, 2000, two sisters, Anna Belle Eagleson and Naomi Ellott, and one brother, William F. Eagleson. He is survived by four daughters, Sandra Blaine, Freeman, MO, Paulette Johnson, Creighton, MO, Rebecca Knox, Adrian, MO, and Melissa Dean, Raymore, MO; one brother, Herb Eagleson, Garden City, MO; three sisters, Betty Jane Wildermuth, Harrisonville, MO, Mary Lou Carstensen, Warrensburg, MO, and Martha Stone, North Port, FL; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-great-grandchildren.
