Patsy Marie Benton, 82, of Harrisonville, Missouri  Monday, February 22, 2021 at her home in Harrisonville.  Graveside services were held  Thursday, February 25, 2021, at the Peculiar Cemetery in Peculiar, MO.

Patsy was born December 12, 1938 in Summit, Arkansas, a daughter of William and Ethel (Maxey) Pope.  She was united in marriage to Marion Franklin Benton on October 19, 1957.  She had lived in Peculiar before moving to Harrisonville.  Patsy worked in the apparel department at the Harrisonville Wal-Mart Store for 25 years before her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Marion, who died Sept. 7, 1984, and a son, John Benton.  Patsy is survived by a daughter, Deborah Smith (James), Harrisonville, two granddaughters, Sammijo Miller, Holden, MO, and Bobbijo Dalton, Seattle, WA, and four great-grandchildren, Naomi Miller, Elijah Miller, Eliana Bowlin, and Bobby Lee Bowlin.
