Patricia Darlene Sanders, 73, passed away on March, 4, 2022 in Lenexa, KS. Close family and friends will have a private service at a later date.

Patty was born on March 17, 1948 to Russell and Catherine Wade in Kansas City, MO. She grew up in the Waldo area and attended Southwest High School.

Patty was a loving mother of two sons. She raised her children in Peculiar, MO where she lived for 40 years. She enjoyed music, playing games, and working on puzzles. She loved her furry friends and always had animals in her home. She had a green thumb and spent a lot of time working in her yard. She also appreciated antiques and had some beautiful pieces in her home. She loved being a grandma and enjoyed spending time with her family. Patty was employed by the IRS for much of her career and retired in 2014.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sons: Russell (Rebecca) Hammontree and Stephen (Cindy) Sanders; her three grandchildren: Cooper Hammontree, Hanna Sanders and Ella Sanders; and her sister, Gail Ferrari.
