During World War II, while employed at Griffiss Air Force Base Hospital in Rome, New York, as a secretary to the flight surgeon, Patricia met her future husband, Capt. Charles Daniels, Army Air Corp. They were married on June 27, 1945 in Oriskany Falls, New York and settled in Rome, and in 1970 they moved to Harrisonville, MO.
Throughout her life, Patricia volunteered her services to her church and to schools. She particularly enjoyed the role of high school reading tutor, being an avid reader herself. Patricia also enjoyed quilting, playing Bunco, the Red Hats, and traveling with close friends and family. Patricia had an adventuresome spirit, and at the age of 84, excitedly took her first hot air balloon ride.

Patricia was extremely grateful for the care given by Phyllis and Jake in their home the last three years. She looked forward to, and cherished, the frequent visits from great-grandson, Charlie Miller. Patricia was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Harrisonville, and was very thankful for Donna Overcast, who faithfully administered the Eucharist to Patricia the last few years.
The family sincerely thanks the entire staff at Serenity Care Hospice, especially Jamie Ford, RN and Chaplain Theresa Dembeck, for their outstanding care and concern.
