Pamela Rae (Mitchell) Vandervort, 40, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville. Burial will be in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, August 3 at the chapel. Pam was born October 4, 1971 in Clinton, Missouri, the daughter of the Jim and Linda (Lee) Mitchell. She was a 1990 graduate of Harrisonville High School. She was a lifelong resident of Harrisonville. She married Zack Vandervort on November 30, 1991 at the First Baptist Church in Harrisonville. Pam worked for Value Foods in Human Resources for the past six years.

Pam is survived by her husband, Zach, one son, Dustin, two daughters, Kayla and Kelsey, all of the home; her parents, Jim and Linda Mitchell, Harrisonville, Missouri; one sister, Pat Isbell and husband, Tom, Duluth, Minnesota and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
