Obituary
Opal Bea Scott, 84, Harrisonville, MO, died Monday, October 31, 2011 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 3, 2011 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 2 at the chapel. Burial will be in Orient Cemetery in Harrisonville.
Opal was born September 15, 1927 in Okemah, OK, the daughter of Earnest Jackson and Hassie May (Moore) Crumpley. She married Gale W. Scott on April 26, 1960. Opal was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gale W. Scott on October 1, 2001, one brother, Joe Crumpley, three sisters, Ruby Pitstick, Velma Hart, Florence Dickinson and one daughter, Alana Carlyle. She is survived by one son, Dana Scott, Harrisonville, MO; one brother, Don Crumpley; one sister, Tola Anderson; three grandchildren, Phillip Shanon Terry, Brittany Danelle Scott and Brandon Kasey Scott and several nieces and nephews.
