Norma Lee Brewster, 94, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024. Funeral services were held Friday, January 26, 2024 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, Missouri. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association.
Norma was born April 24, 1929 in Bosworth, MO, a daughter of Carl and Gladys (Garren) Peppard. She was a 1947 graduate of Amsterdam, Missouri High School. Norma was united in marriage to Albert Lee Brewster on January 28, 1948 at the home of Rev. Joe Brewster near Freeman, MO. Norma worked at Western Electric-AT&T in Lee's Summit, MO, for many years before retiring in 1988. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Harrisonville.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; her parents; her brother, Arlin Peppard; sister-in-law, Norma Peppard; infant grandson, Lawrence Stafford, III; grandson, Landon Stafford; and son-in-law, Melvin Taylor. She is survived by two sons: Larry (Rhonda) Brewster, Bates City, MO; and Gary (Sherry) Brewster, Urich, MO; three daughters: Carolyn (Ron) Russ, Canby, Oregon; Vicki Taylor, Harrisonville, MO; and Roberta Stafford, Harrisonville, MO; two brothers-in-law: Earl Brewster (Jeannie), Adrian, MO; and Asa Bennett, Harrisonville, MO; two sisters-in-law: Irene Welliver, Amoret, MO; and Judy Brewster, Overland Park, KS; ten grandchildren: Morgan (Brian) Hiller, Karrie (Ryan) Grimes, Grant (Amy) Russ, Jill Russ, Tyler (Jen) Russ, Jamie (Tonya) Taylor, Daniel (Carrie) Taylor, Kristi (John) Diamond, Jeremy Stafford, and Sarah (Todd) Eppert; 20 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
