Noel Dean Boxley, 86, Belton, MO, died Monday, March 27, 2017 at his home. Funeral services were held Thursday, April 6 at Southview Christian Church in Grandview, MO, with burial in Belton Cemetery.

Noel was born January 13, 1931 in Princeton, MO, the son of Noel Delbert and Cindy Avanell (Wilcox) Boxley. He was a 1948 graduate of Princeton High School. Noel was a U.S. Korean War Army veteran. He married Ina Genevieve "Genny" Evans on December 31, 1958 in Kansas City, MO.


Noel worked for Signal Delivery and was a member of Teamsters Local 41, Kansas City. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and woodworking and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.

Noel was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Dale Boxley. He is survived by his wife, Genny, of the home; four sons, Mike Hutchins (Christy), Grandview, MO, Randy Boxley, Martin City, MO, Andy Boxley, Belton, MO and Rodney Boxley (Tammy), Peculiar, MO; three daughters, Carmen Johnson (Bryan), Harrisonville, MO, Carolyn Price (Lucius), Belton, MO and Claudia Furney (Bill), Peoria, AZ; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren and one on the way!
