Neva Fay (Reedy) Timbers, 87, of Warrensburg, Missouri, formerly of Archie, died Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Graveside services were held on Friday, September 23, 2022 at Newton Burial Park in Nevada, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Children's Mercy, Department of Philanthropy, 2401 Gillham Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64108.

Neva was born September 29, 1934 in Harwood, Missouri, the daughter of Walter Guy and Jennie Ruth (Curry) Reedy. In 1952, she graduated from El Dorado Springs High School, then worked in the office at Sears in Kansas City, Missouri for several years.  On May 27, 1955, she married Everett Timbers. She resided in Archie, Missouri for 40 years, was the office manager of Archie Painting Company, and attended the local United Methodist Church.

She loved to dance and laugh, was an avid gardener, and enjoyed making her children's favorite foods.  She was quiet, humble and dedicated to family. Her sons value the wisdom and good common sense she taught as a guide for their lives.

Neva was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a sister, Lois (Reedy) Dade; and three brothers: Lewis, Fred and Richard Reedy. She is survived by three sons: Kerry Timbers and his wife, Amalia, of Newton, Massachusetts; Vincent Timbers and his wife, Patricia, of State College, Pennsylvania; and Kevin Timbers and his wife, Rebecca, of Warrensburg, Missouri; and three grandchildren: Sarah, Ben, and Sam.
