Neva Jessie Green, 83, Adrian, Missouri, died Sunday, November 24, 2013 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Adrian. Burial will be in Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian. Memorial contributions may be made to Bates County Food Pantry.

Neva was born December 17, 1930 in Butler, Missouri to Vance and Minnie (McCabe) Talley of Butler. She was a 1949 graduate of Adrian High School and was united in marriage to Bob Green on June 8, 1950. She enjoyed spending time with her family and playing cards, especially Rummy.

Neva was a great cook; she enjoyed watching her great-grandchildren play sports, and she loved her dog, Toby. She was a wonderful grandmother and we will all miss our "Nanny" dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vance and Minnie Talley; her loving husband, Bob Green; brothers, Clifford, Jack and Jim Talley; and sisters, Hazel Frazier and Ditty Jackson. Neva is survived by one son, Gary "Michael" Green and wife, Cheryl of Adrian, Missouri; one daughter, Patsy Diana Koeplinger and husband, Buzz of Spring Hill, Kansas; four granddaughters, Jeni Moore and husband, Eddie of Gardner, Kansas, Jessica Chulufas and husband, Jason of Adrian, Missouri, Megan Nelson and husband, Michael of Adrian, Missouri, and Kinsy Koeplinger of Shawnee, Kansas; seven great-grandchildren, Hunter, Colton, and Chloe Nelson, Bryce Chulufas, and Blake, Kaleb and Dylan Moore; and two sisters, Bonnie Cumpton of Adrian, Missouri and Mary Dickerson and husband, Richard of Butler, Missouri.
