Neal Lewis Bellamy, 64, Freeman, Missouri, passed away Friday, February 8, 2019 at his home in Freeman.  Funeral services were held on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO.  Burial in Freeman Cemetery, Freeman, MO.  Contributions may be made in Neal's name to The University Of Kansas Cancer Center.

Neal was born November 10, 1954 in Warrensburg, MO, a son of Emmett and Goldie (Thomas) Bellamy.  He had lived in Raytown, MO and was a 1974 graduate of Raytown South High School.

Neal was united in marriage to Janelle Vernon on June 11, 1984 in Kansas City, KS.  They had lived in Kansas City, KS and Greenwood, MO before moving to Freeman in 2016.  Neal was a jack of all trades and was lovingly known as "Mr. Fix It" by friends and family.  He had worked at Pizza Blends Inc. in North Kansas City for 17 years before his retirement.

Neal was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Leroy, Fred, Cleveland, and Ernie;  and two sisters, Betty, and his twin sister, Nancy.  He is survived by his wife, Janelle, Freeman, MO; three sons, Neal Bellamy II (Theresa), Lee's Summit, MO, Thomas Bellamy, Harrisonville, and Steven Bellamy (Jessica), Lee's Summit; a daughter, Rebecca Bellamy, Raymore, MO; a brother, Randall Bellamy (Sue), Independence, MO; four grandchildren, Madison, Brooke, Stratton, and RaeLynn; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
