Naomi Virginia Jackson, 93, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Friday, June 26, 2015 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery in Butler, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 30 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, with Rebekah services at 6:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Harrisonville United Methodist Church memorial fund.

Naomi was born November 21, 1921 in Quick City, Missouri, the daughter of Eugene B. and Alpha Ann (Moore) Maddux. She was a 1939 graduate of Creighton High School. Naomi married Harley Clarence Jackson on January 11, 1942 in Harrisonville. They had lived in Kuna, Idaho until moving to Harrisonville in 1966. She had worked at the Harrisonville Sears Store for 13 years. She was a member of the Harrisonville United Methodist Church and the Rebekah Assembly in Adrian, Missouri.

Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, Harley Dale, and 7 sisters. She is survived by her husband, Harley, of the home; one son, Harold D. Jackson, Harrisonville, Missouri; four daughters, Jane "Janie" Elizabeth Butler, Boise, Idaho, Teresa A. Jackson, Belton, Missouri, Marilyn L. Schneider, Raymore, Missouri and Carol Jean Sackrider, Harrisonville, Missouri; one sister, Veva Williston, Shawnee, Kansas; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson.
