Nancy Jane Noorbakhsh, 57, Independence, Missouri, died Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, September 22 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri with visitation from 2:00-2:30 p.m. Burial will be in Crescent Hill Cemetery in Adrian, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

Nancy was born July 6, 1957 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Franke and Georgia Jane (Wilkinson) Hampton. She was a 1975 graduate of Harrisonville High School and had lived in Kansas City and Independence, Missouri. She started working for United Telephone in Harrisonville as a telephone operator and retired from Sprint as a project manager.

Nancy was preceded in death by one sister, Cindy Moles. She is survived by one son, Alex Noorbakhsh and one daughter, Sara Noorbakhsh, both of the home; her father, Franke Hampton, Versailles, Missouri; her mother, Jane Carlill, Harrisonville, Missouri; one sister, Brenda Noorbakhsh, Kansas City, Missouri and one brother, Chad Hampton of Columbia, Missouri.
