Mona Lea Harrison, 62, Adrian, MO, died Monday, February 11, 2008 at Bates County Memorial Hospital, Butler, MO. Funeral services 11:00 AM Saturday, February 16, 2008 at the Atkinson Chapel, Adrian. Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Saturday at the chapel. Contributions to the Mona Harrison memorial fund. Cremation following service.

Mona was born March 8, 1945 in Sand Gap, KY, the daughter of Irving and Nancy (Guerra) Gay. She had worked for J. C. Penny, Wal-Mart and numerous other jobs. She enjoyed her doll houses, and made some of the furnishings to go in the doll houses, Precious Moments and Tassel dolls.

Mona was preceded in death by her parents, her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rose and Gilbert Harrison and one sister, Lena Scott. She is survived by her husband, Leonard Harrison, of the home; two sons, Tilford "Trey" Johnson and his wife, Rachel, Las Vegas, NV and Travis Johnson, CA; two stepsons, Richard Harrison and family and David Harrison, all of TX; three sisters, Susan Yvonne, Cloverdale, IN, Rita Smith, Indianapolis, IN and Roma Catron and her husband, Ricky, CA; stepsister, Mary Jo Haven and her husband, George, Springfield, IL; sister-in-law, Lynda Johnson and family, Springfield, MO; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
