Mitchell "Kelly" Eppard, 52, Raytown, MO, formerly of Harrisonville, MO, died Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at the Edgewood Manor Nursing Home in Raytown. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, July 18 at the Howard Cemetery in Goodman, MO. Friends may call 10:00-11:00 AM Friday, July 18 at the Atkinson Chapel in Adrian, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the Edgewood Manor Resident Activities Fund, 11900 Jessica Lane, Raytown, MO 64138.

Kelly was born August 6, 1955 in Sidney, Nebraska, the son of Clyde Lewis and Opal Louise (Broam) Eppard. Kelly had worked at the Sheltered Workshops in Harrisonville and Grandview, MO. He enjoyed cars and trucks and going for car rides. He was great at remembering directions.

Kelly was preceded in death by his parents, aunts and uncles. He is survived by two brothers, Clyde Lewis Eppard, Jr. and his wife, Glenda, Neosho, MO and Audie Steven Eppard and his wife, Janice, Webb City, MO; two sisters, Sherilyn LaDean Morgan, Westminster, CO and Leslie Jeanine Swartz and her husband, Gary, Adrian, MO and several nieces and nephews.
