Misty Jo Murray, 47, Kansas City, MO, died Monday, December 25, 2017 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO.  Memorial services were held Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO. Contributions may be made to Atkinson Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.

Misty was born November 14, 1970 in Portsmouth, VA, the daughter of Joe and Patti Jo (Crowder) Alderton. She grew up in Adrian, MO and later moved to Kansas City. Misty had worked as the office manager at Calverts Tire Express in Belton and Raytown, MO. She was a member of the Greater Life Church in Kansas City.

Misty is survived by four sons, Slade Jeffries, St. Joseph, MO, Bret Baker and Seth Baker, both of Archie, MO, and Jayden Murray, Kansas City, MO; one daughter, Jessi Baker, Archie, MO; her mother, Patti Baker (Rex), Archie, MO; her father, Joe Alderton (Kathleen), Wyoming; four brothers, Jeremy Brigham, Harrisonville, MO, David Alderton, Bitburg, Germany, Joseph Alderton, Washington State, and Mark Alderton, Grandview, MO.
