Obituary
Milton Oliver Huggins, 71, Garden City, Missouri, died Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 6, 2015 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville with visitation from 10:00-11:00. Burial will be in Wills Cemetery, Peculiar, Missouri.
Milton was born April 22, 1943 in Lincoln, Nebraska, the son of Lars Albert and Lou Elaine (Hill) Huggins. He grew up in Nebraska. Milton married Betty Barnard Shelton in August, 1989. They moved to Garden City in 1991. He was a Methodist.
Milton worked for B&B Concrete in Belton. He was a U. S. Army Reserves veteran.
Milton was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Betty on October 10, 2014. He is survived by two sons, Donald Shelton, Raymore, Missouri and Dennis Shelton, Garden City, Missouri; one daughter, Deborah Sytkowski, Raymore, Missouri; one brother, Wayne Huggins; three sisters, Alberta Weddle, Erma Wilson and Kay Nave; many nieces and nephews.
