V. Mildred Otto, 104, Lee's Summit, Missouri, formerly of Archie, Missouri, died Monday, February 18, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 24 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Archie, Missouri with visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Crescent Hill Cemetery in Adrian, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Archie United Methodist Church, Archie, MO 64725.

Mildred, daughter of James Simeon and Ethel Mae (Roberts) Pulliam, was born November 3, 1908 near Adrian, Missouri. She graduated from Adrian High School in 1927 and attended Central Missouri State Teachers College in Warrensburg, Missouri. Mildred taught at the Crawford, Fairview and Liberty rural schools near Adrian, Missouri.

Mildred was married to Carl A. Otto on January 19, 1932 in Adrian. She was a member of the Archie United Methodist Church.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Aubrey and her husband, Carl. Survivors include her son, James C. "Lyle" Otto and wife, Evelyn; grandson, Brian Otto and wife, Jessica; granddaughter, Carla Thomas and husband, John; great-grandchildren, Joseph and Braeden Thomas and Makayla and Peyton Otto.

The family would like to thank Harden Hospice. Mildred will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
