Michael "Mike" Anthony Jones, 24, Grandview, MO, died Sunday, March 18, 2007 at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, MO. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 22 at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville, MO. Burial will be in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. Friends may call 6:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 21 at the chapel.

Mike was born January 16, 1983 in Lee's Summit, MO, the son of Gary L. and Donna Kay (Oliphant) Jones. He was a lifelong resident of Grandview, MO.

Mike worked as a roofing supervisor. He was a bi-lingual translator and helped many Hispanic families.

Michael is survived by his father, Gary Jones, Gladstone, MO; his mother, Donna Jones, Grandview, MO; maternal grandmother, Darlene Oliphant, Grandview, MO; paternal grandparents, Ira and Marion Jones, Liberty, MO; one half sister, Mandy Beckett, Loveland, CO; aunts, uncles and cousins, Kathy Kurtz, Vernal, UT, Paula Gerean, Belton, MO, Kelly Oliphant, Grandview, MO, Bob Oliphant, Grandview, MO, David Jones, Karen Acord, Mark Jones, all of Kansas City, MO and Ira Jones, Kearney, MO and many other loving family and friends.
