Michael "Mike" E. Strong, 34, Pleasant Hill, Missouri, died Monday, January 25, 2016 at his home. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Mike was born May 4, 1981 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was raised by his grandparents, Hershell and Barbara (Kagarice) Strong. He attended Lee's Summit High School with the Class of 2000. Mike married Michelle J. Bell on August 9, 2012 in Butler, Missouri. He worked for Enersys in Kansas City as a field service engineer.

Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents. He is survived by his wife, Michelle, and one son, Bow Strong, both of the home; one brother, Randy Wining (Cassandra), and his best friend, Ryan Yearout (Tabitha).
