Maxine Brodrick, 86, Harrisonville, MO, died Friday, April 6, 2007 at Camden Health Center, Harrisonville. Funeral services were held Monday, April 9, 2007 at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville, MO. Burial was in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. Contributions may be made to the Harrisonville United Methodist Church memorial fund.

Maxine was born August 5, 1920, in Pittsburg, KS, the daughter of Ernest A. and Johnanna K. (Winnebach) Vilmer. Maxine was united in marriage to Everett D. Brodrick on August 31, 1940 in Asbury, MO. Maxine and Everett moved to Harrisonville in 1959 and ran Brodrick's Fine Furniture store until their retirement in 1973. Maxine was a member of the Harrisonville United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, the Missouri Trout Association and played bridge every Monday and Wednesday.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Everett, one brother and one sister. She is survived by one son, John E. Brodrick, Ft. Myers, FL; one daughter, Cindy J. Burris, of Jet, OK; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
