Mary Lou Zimmerman, 63, Kansas City, MO, died Thursday, May 29, 2008 at The Greens at Creekside, Kansas City, MO. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM Monday, June 2, 2008 at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville, MO with visitation from 6:00-7:00 PM on Monday at the chapel. Inurnment will be in Freeman Cemetery, Freeman, MO.

Mary was born November 28, 1944 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Cecil Herman and Dolly (Snelling) Zimmerman. Mary had been a Cub Scout and Girl Scout leader. She worked as a cook for nursing homes. She was a life-long resident of Kansas City.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by two sons, Charles William Siegenthaler, Kansas City, MO and Cecial Earl Siegenthaler, Latour, MO; one daughter, Maria Gruver, Harrisonville, MO; one brother, George Zimmerman, Kansas City, MO; two sisters, Emma Jo Welsh, Oakridge, OR and Stella Robinson, Harrisonville, MO; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and 12 step-great-grandchildren.
