Mary Anna Wilson, 81, Harrisonville, MO, died Sunday, March 1, 2009 at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 5, 2009 at the Church On The Rock, Harrisonville. Burial will be in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. Mary Anna was born July 21, 1927 in Belton, MO, the daughter of Wilber Lewis and Ethel Marie (Moore) Lawrence. She was a graduate of Peculiar, Missouri High School. She married Everett E. Wilson on March 30, 1945 in Olathe, KS.
Mary was a lifelong Cass County resident. She had lived in Cleveland, Missouri for 13 years before moving to Harrisonville in 1966. She had worked for the Little Shirt Factory in Belton for several years. She was a homemaker and helped her husband with their dairy farm. Mary was a member of the Church On The Rock in Harrisonville where she sang for many years. Mary had also sung for numerous funerals and weddings through the years.
Mary was preceded in death by parents. She is survived by her husband, Everett, of the home; three sons, Everett E. Wilson, Jr. and Lawrence Wilson, both of Harrisonville, MO and Shawn Wilson, Elk City, OK; one daughter, Chash Giovenco, Toms River, NJ; three sisters, Gladys Graham and Ethel Hodgson, both of El Reno, OK and Mahala Bohannon, Harrisonville, MO; 12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
