Mary Remshak, 95, Harrisonville, MO, died Monday, March 27, 2017 at Golden Years Care Center in Harrisonville. Funeral services were held Friday, March 31 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Harrisonville with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Pittsburg, KS.

Mary was born December 13, 1921 in Croweburg, KS, the daughter of John and Angeline (Turco) Nicoletti. She took care of her brothers and her invalid sister after her mother died in 1935. She married William "Bill" Remshak on January 19, 1946 in Arma, Kansas. They moved to Harrisonville in 1963 from Chicago. Mary worked for the Harrisonville Schools as cafeteria manager for 20 years before retiring. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Harrisonville since 1963. She was a caterer and a cake decorator. She loved cats.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bill on February 12, 2004, four brothers, Joe Nicoletti, Sam Nicoletti, Frank Nicoletti and Louie Nicoletti, and one sister, Rosa Nicoletti. She is survived by her son, William "Bill" J. Remshak, Harrisonville, MO; 4 grandchildren, Vince Remshak, Danielle Remshak, Shawn Young, and Lesa Locke; 1 great-grandchild, Lucy, and numerous nieces and nephews.
