Mary Patricia Loomis, 86, Harrisonville, MO, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Lee's Summit Medical Center in Lee's Summit, MO.  Memorial services  and a Rosary  service were held  Friday, July 2, 2021 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Harrisonville with inurnment in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville.

Mary was born November 29, 1934 in Chicago, IL, a daughter of Royal and Theresa (Pritchett) Kerr.  Mary had lived in Los Angeles, CA and Shawnee, KS before moving to Harrisonville in 1988.  She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Harrisonville.  Mary worked as a secretary for the Cass County Road and Bridge Department for 20 years before retiring in 2008.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Reggie Loomis in 1979, one sister, Kathleen and one son, Michael Surrell.  She is survived by one daughter, Pam Belk and her husband, Stan, Harrisonville, MO; one grandson, Jason Schemm and one great-granddaughter, Destini Schemm.
