Mary Moore Lagergren of Lake Waukomis, Missouri passed away at her home on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at the age of 70, after almost a year-long battle with cancer. A visitation and funeral service were held at the Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral, 415 West 13th Street, in downtown Kansas City, Missouri on Saturday, October 8, 2022.  The family requests in lieu of flowers, friends consider making a donation in Mary's name to either Kitty Cat Connection or NourishKC.

She was born Mary Margaret Moore to James and Marie Moore of St. Louis, Missouri on December 19 ^th , 1951. She attended Nerinx Hall High School in Webster Groves, Missouri and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in dental hygiene from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Dental School after which she practiced as a dental hygienist for over thirty years. After the conclusion of her career as a dental hygienist, she became a systems analyst and "troubleshooter" for CorroHealth, a position she held until late 2021. Her favorite activity was to cook for family and friends in the glowing warmth of her kitchen and personality. She never stopped learning and never stopped making others feel special and loved.

She is survived by her husband Brent, their son Blain and his wife Sarah and their children George and Freya. She is also survived by her step-son Nathan and his wife Heather and their children Rose and Lily.
