Mary Sue Jessee, 87, of Liberty, Missouri passed away Monday, January 23, 2023 at Northcare Hospice House in North Kansas City, MO.  Graveside services were held  Friday, January 27, 2023 at Wills Cemetery in Peculiar, MO.

Sue was born November 16, 1935 in Peculiar, MO, a daughter of Howard Lee and Abbie Bessie (Ullery) Wills.  She grew up in Cass County, MO and had lived in Kansas City, MO and Independence, MO before moving to Liberty. Sue was a facilities manager, and managed storage units in Kansas City.  She was united in marriage to James Jessee, on June 3, 1963 in Miami, Oklahoma. Sue loved to fish, play bingo, and spend time with her family. She was a Baptist.

Sue is survived by a son, James Jessee III, Kansas City, MO, 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Jessee on May 10, 1993, two sons; Harold Drehle and Kevin Wayne Drehle; a daughter, Brenda Crumby; three brothers, Lester Wills, Glenn "Hank" Wills, and Don Wills; three sisters, Wilma Walker, Rose Rinker, and Oleta Mae Hughes.
